ASIC's Best Interests Duty and Design and Distribution Obligations put a compliance floor under broker tooling
Brokers and lenders run on tooling built for banks ten times their size. We build for the deal volume they actually have.
SMB and mid-market brokers and lenders need application, underwriting-support, and pipeline tooling sized to their actual deal volume — not an enterprise platform with a six-figure implementation. We build broker and lender workflow tooling scoped to how these teams actually operate.

- Pipeline & conversion reporting

ASIC's Best Interests Duty and Design and Distribution Obligations put a compliance floor under broker tooling
Since the Best Interests Duty (BID) commenced under Part 3-5A of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, mortgage brokers must be able to show — not just assert — that a recommendation was in the client's best interest. Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) add a parallel requirement to track and evidence that credit products reach the customers they were designed for.
Structured records of how each recommendation was assessed against a client's needs and circumstances (BID), plus target-market and distribution tracking for credit products (DDO) — not a note in an email thread.
SMB and mid-market brokers and lenders who need to evidence BID and DDO compliance per deal, on top of the pipeline and underwriting-support tooling most are still missing.
Brokers who can't produce BID and DDO records on request carry ASIC compliance risk on top of the operational cost of running deals through spreadsheets and email.
What We Build
Broker and lender workflow tooling scoped to mid-market deal volume.
Application & Pipeline Tracking
Deal pipeline and application-status tooling that gives brokers and lenders visibility without the overhead of an enterprise origination platform.
Document & Underwriting-Support Workflows
Structured document collection and underwriting-support workflows that also capture the best-interests and product-suitability record ASIC's BID and DDO regimes expect — not just a faster paper chase.
Broker & Lender CRM Integration
Deal and client records that sit alongside your existing CRM rather than duplicating it, so pipeline tooling reflects one source of truth, not a second system to update.
Referral Partner & Client Portals
Status-visibility portals for referral partners and clients that cut the "where's my deal at" calls, without exposing internal pipeline detail they don't need.
Automated Status & Milestone Notifications
Deal-stage and document-status alerts that reach the right person automatically, replacing manual chase-up as the way deals stay moving.
Pipeline & Conversion Reporting
Reporting on deal volume, conversion, and bottlenecks that a growing brokerage can actually run week to week, not a quarterly export exercise.
Not sure which of these fits your team? Tell us where the gap is and we'll scope it together.
How We Engage
A shorter first engagement, scoped to the highest-value workflow gap, matched to short SMB sales cycles.
Pipeline & Workflow Review
We assess your current application and pipeline process to find the specific bottleneck — usually document collection or status visibility.
Scoped Sprint Plan
A fixed-price sprint plan targeted at your highest-value gap first — usually pipeline visibility or document collection — sized to your deal volume, not an enterprise rollout.
Build on Django/DRF + React
A pragmatic, integration-friendly stack: Django/DRF backends that hold up under real deal volume, React interfaces your team can use without training sessions.
Workflow Validation Before Launch
We validate the pipeline and document workflows against how your team actually closes deals — and against BID and DDO record-keeping expectations — before go-live.
Fixed-Price, Short Cycle
A scoped, fixed-price first build sized to short SMB sales cycles and budget ranges, proving the approach before a larger build.
