AASB S2 makes Scope 3 everyone’s problem, not just large reporters’

ISSB-aligned climate disclosure rules are pushing Scope 3 reporting down the supply chain. We build the tooling that catches it.

ISSB-aligned climate reporting standards are cascading Scope 3 obligations from large reporters down to mid-market suppliers who've never had to produce auditable emissions data. We build the supplier-facing data collection tooling and engineering infrastructure that climate-tech and energy companies need to meet that demand — and the product engineering partnerships that help climate-tech teams ship.

  • Scope 3 supplier data portals
  • Climate disclosure-ready reporting infrastructure
  • Grid & distributed energy platform engineering
  • Climate-tech product partnerships
Why Now

AASB S2 makes Scope 3 everyone’s problem, not just large reporters’

AASB S2 is Australia's mandatory climate-related financial disclosure standard, aligned to ISSB, phasing in for large entities from FY2025 and extending to smaller entities in subsequent years. Separately, energy and grid companies building climate-tech products need engineering partners who can ship, not just advise.

01
What It Requires

AASB S2 requires large reporting entities to disclose climate-related financial information, including Scope 3 emissions gathered across their entire supplier base — auditable, methodology-backed data, not an estimate.

02
Who It Affects

Large entities reporting from FY2025, and — because of the Scope 3 cascade — the mid-market and small suppliers now asked to submit auditable emissions and activity data for the first time. Energy, grid, and climate-tech companies building the products both sides need are affected on the delivery side.

03
Cost of Inaction

Reporting entities that can't collect auditable supplier data risk disclosure gaps under a mandatory standard phasing in now; suppliers without a way to produce that data risk being unable to stay in reporting entities' supply chains at all.

What We Build

Emissions data infrastructure and climate-tech product engineering — built for the reporting cascade, not generic sustainability dashboards.

01

Scope 3 Supplier Data Portals

Supplier-facing portals for collecting emissions and activity data at the granularity climate disclosure reporting requires — built for suppliers submitting this data for the first time.

Built for suppliers with no existing emissions tracking system to plug into.
02

Emissions Aggregation & Calculation Tooling

Systems that turn raw activity data into calculated emissions figures using recognized methodologies, with the traceability an audit or assurance review expects.

Consumes data straight from the supplier portals — no manual re-entry.
03

Climate Disclosure-Ready Reporting Infrastructure

Audit-trail-first reporting systems that produce disclosure-ready output, not just an internal dashboard — built to survive external assurance review.

Sits on top of your emissions calculation layer and existing finance reporting cadence.
04

Grid & Distributed Energy Platform Engineering

Product engineering for grid software, distributed energy management, and monitoring platforms — from architecture through production deployment.

Integrates with existing grid telemetry and asset management systems.
05

Climate-Tech Product Partnerships

Embedded engineering capacity for climate-tech teams that need to ship a product roadmap, not just receive a strategy deck.

Works inside your existing product and engineering process.
06

ESG Data Integration Layer

Integration between emissions/ESG data sources and the ERP, procurement, or asset systems that already hold the underlying activity data.

Integrates with your existing ERP, procurement, or asset management system.

Not sure which of these fits your team? Tell us where the gap is and we'll scope it together.

How We Engage

From reporting-gap assessment to production-ready disclosure infrastructure or shipped product.

01

Reporting & Data Gap Assessment

We map your climate disclosure obligations against your current data collection capability — supplier-side or reporting-entity-side — to find where the tooling gap actually is.

02

Scoped Sprint Plan

A fixed-price sprint plan targeted at the highest-priority gap — usually supplier data intake or emissions calculation — sized to your reporting deadline.

03

Build on Django/DRF + React

Auditable, integration-friendly backends and interfaces suppliers and internal teams can use without a training program.

04

Methodology & Audit Trail Validation

We validate calculation methodology and data lineage before launch, so the system holds up under assurance review, not just internal use.

05

Fixed-Price, Short Cycle

Scoped and priced for mid-market energy, grid, and climate-tech teams working to a reporting deadline, not an open-ended enterprise engagement.
